Back to the Future Antiques

I don't usually take the time to write reviews but feel compelled to write one about this place since I feel that the previous reviewer is completely off base and must have a very negative outlook in general. To put it politely.



I live in Niles and enjoy shopping in many of the antique stores in town. Like the previous reviewer, I was also looking forward to another antique store opening in town and curious about what treasures it would hold.



After going to this store a number of times and buying some things, I feel that it has a good selection and some pretty cool items.



It's not been open for too long and the inventory has been gradually building up. Lots of cool things from the 50s, 60s & 70s. I think the prices are very reasonable.



I'd say to check it out for yourself and have an open mind. If you don't see anything you like, you can visit some of the other antique stores in town also.

I was very excited to see a new antique shop coming to Niles where I live, first three times I tried to go visit, they were closed, 2pm. well last weekend we got in, how disappointing, way way overpriced! Album covers that were destroyed with no records in them, 45 vinyl records scratched beyond playability, 3 jukeboxes that don't even work for $1,800 bucks and up, thats crazy, you can buy a working jukebox in better condition for $1500 or cheaper, why don't they fix the juke boxes and then sell them for 1800 bucks, not much in the shop really, not one playable record, turntable, magazine, jukebox, clothing, nothing good, the few items we were interested in were WAY WAY overpriced and not in that good of condition anyways avoid this place, until they get a clue, they won't be here long I'm sure. :(
