          Great Pub

          After reading other reviews, my husband & I were nervous about going here w/friends. We needn't have been! The service was great as was the food! We had the fish & chips & could see why they were listed as the best in Frederick. The piece of fish was huge-could easily feed 2-& was perfectly battered & cooked. They weren't heavy-handed w/the Old Bay either. My husband had the shepherd's pie & it was excellent! It is served in a bread bowl & was very flavorful & fresh tasting. The noise level is pretty high but it IS a pub after all! Loved the woodwork & feel of the place. We're already talking return trips!

          I did go here a while back and me and my husband ordered fish and chips. The fish was over cooked, it was really dark, like it was left in the fryer to long.

          best fish and chips I've ever had. Very good pot roast as well. Serice is friendly. I've never gone at night but that's more of a pub crowd but for a lunch it's great.
