It is a blessing and delight to read quotes from Pastor D. Evans. The journey of personal questions and scripture study make the book of Philippians relevant to my trusting Jesus and submitting to Him in every arena of my life. Being in a daily devotional form gives me an ongoing challenge to apply the truth. This also helps me to continue evaluating my choices and experiencing the benefits. The meditation & memorization of God's Word sends it deeper into my heart and mind. The Holy Spirit opens my eyes. The revelations and blessings from yielding to the Lord Jesus compel me to yield more.

This is an excellent work book if you are serious about developing a closer relationship with Jesus Christ a Lord of your life. It is written to be easily understood with simple questions that sometimes require hard answers. Ms. Gillis presents a no excuse plan to live an overcoming Godly life in an ungodly World Gone Mad. Regardless of your circumstances, surrendering to Jesus truly is Upward Living.

I did this amazing study with eight ladies from my neighborhood. All of them were in crises. As we went through this study God did a powerful work in our lives!
