Rz Sports Bar & Grill

I really like this bar. Comfortable atmosphere, waitress are nice, drinks and food is good. Only problem is your liquors may not be exactly what you ask for. I ordered Jose cuervo and got a cheaper brand Tequila. I drink cuervo all the time and i know the difference. Other than that, all is well at this bar and it's one of the best in the area.

Well, the staff is awesome! I just wish they would change the menu. For starters: heat the chips, better yet, make your own.

Consider sliders, beef and

chicken. Put your own twist on it.

This bar could be so much better! How about some fresh fried calamari. You do not have to have big dishes to be a great bar to hang out in...just create simple, small fresh items.

I actually have never written an online comment about any place, subject or thing, but felt that I had to after reading some of the previous comments. Please ignore all the rash opinions. My husband and I too thought the previous attempts at a fun local bar failed miserably, but this place is SUPERB! It really is a "Cheers" kind of a place and great for playing pool, karaoke, dancing, talking and eating great food (all the things we go to bars for). The waitstaff is incredible - no matter who we get that night, and the manager is such a joy. She DOES remember you and makes it a point to greet you personally and introduce herself to new guests. It is SO nice to come in to your local pub and get the reception that my husband and I get. Granted - we do not go out too much, but when we do we ALWAYS choose our "local hangout". We have brought several friends and they are also excited about the new RZ. We will see you New Year's night guys! Great job and THANKS for all that you do!

RZ's opened a few short months ago. I was excited to see a local sports bar/restaurant opening in the neighborhood. The previous attempt of a business at this location was a Cigar Bar that failed miserably (thankfully). It closed down no sooner than it opened. RZ's has a friendly atmosphere provided by the cozy decor, great waitstaff and a very friendly owner. Unlike some sports bars that bombard you with big screens RZ's has just enough sensibly sized flat screens scattered throughout. The drinks are reasonably priced as is the food. The food quality is good to excellent and is focused primarily on Greek dishes. The music is normally played at at a level that allows for enjoyment while engaging in good conversation. they have a pool table, karaoke and live music on the weekends. They have food/drink specials throughout the week. They have a fantastic patio area which also has a tv that is perfect for smokers.The only reason I am a little disappointed is due to the smoking policy. RZ's claims to be a "private club" in order to enable smoking inside its facility. This is an outrage as it is clearly an openly public establishment. They record your drivers license in the system and "Bingo" you are member. This is a blatant misrepresentation. Most of the heavy smoking takes place at the bar which is in the very center of the facility. This includes regular bar dwellers that sit and puff on massive disgusting cigars. The owner has attempted to negate the effects by installing some special smoke filters. I very much appreciate the efforts and extra expense but just do yourself, your employees, and your customers a favor and just follow the law. Stop pretending you are a private club because you are not. It is proven that In places that have banned smoking business has risen with statistical significance. While you may be afraid that you would lose customers by banning smoking you are actually keeping most of your customer base away by not doing so. I challenge you to make this change and with the right marketing watch your business increase. All in all a very nice place to relax with friends and family. Just get rid of the smoke please.

RZ's is AWESOME! Theres always gonna be a bad apple in the crowd that doesnt get things their way so they fabricate lies to make themselves feel better. Keep up the good work RZ Staff, Management, and Ownership. Oh and luv luv luv Tiffany!

Please watch them ACTUALLY pour your drink!!!! They tend to pour the cheapest liquor and charge you the NAME BRAND price!! I physically watched them pour me JIM BEAM when I ordered JACK DANIELS. And when i asked the waittress about my drink she said NO this is Jack Daniels. Owner was there too and got involved, he was on the bartendar and waittress's side and "says" he tool off 2 of our drinks on the tab. But FAILED to give us an itemized receipt reflecting as such. BAD BUSINESS!

Me and some buddies have been to this place a few times. Each time the bartenders remembered our faces and what we liked to drink (dos xx with lime). As far as a few of the negative comments go...we've had every waitress wait on us and all have been great. And believe me, my friends and I are tough customers. Don't listen to those narrowed minded negative comments.

Fab neighborhood bar...woo hoo

obviously it sounds like someone isnt happy that they arent working at this establishment. the negative comments that have been said about rz's couldnt be more obsured. the staff at this local bar and grill are awesome. starting with management! they remember my face after only two visits, and even went out of their way to have what i drink on hand! that says alot and they definately take care of their customers. food is much better than expected! this is my new local hangout and will continue to bring friends and family. dont take what these "haters" are writing, clearly they are holding grudges that shoudnt be held in the first place! keep up the awesome work!

This place has come a long way! All of the negetive reviews are so false its not even funny!! The manager is very friendly and goes out of her way to accomadate EVERYONE! I love the staff and the food. To those who have obviously been fired or offended, you are out numbered because this place is awesome and is only getting better! Great Job Rz's and thanks for a local place to hang out at.

WOW!!!! The energy behind this bar is UNFORGETTABLE... My husband and I laughed til we cried. The bartenders are absolutley the entertainment. The drink prices are the best we've seen in awhile. They were constantly smiling and even laughing.. Unbelievable service,food, and atmosphere. If I were you I would go check out what your missing. They remember you and your drinks everytime!!! LOVE IT!

RZ is a CHEERS kinda bar. My buddies and I went in after work the Friday they opened and the place was packed. Through the crowd we heard a Hello What can I do for you? What a suprise that as packed as they were they still paid attention. We ofcourse had drinks and also GYROS!! They were amazing. We went in 2 weeks later and they remembered our names and drinks. Any time you have a chance go and check this place out....

Dont waist your time. This place is a Joke just like the Tripple S that they took over. First time I went on a Saturday at 2 pm and I was told they dont open till 4pm. Mean while a major baseball game was in progress. They call themselves a Sports Bar. The next time I went it was 12:30am and as I was walking in a guy was on his way out told me they were closed. Sure enough I go in and they told me we are closed. Idiots your a Bar and by law are allowed to be open and serve till 2am. That would be like me owning a church and closing on Sundays.

The worst thing a Bar can do is to not be open the full lenght of time allowed by law.

This place sucks, the manager is a peice of trash and doesn't care what the customers think. They had ONE great waitress and fired her because she is gay! What is that crap? Just don't go there, I can think of much better places to go!

dude, do not go here! the staff is very unfriendly, the food is terrible at best, the atmosphere is smokey from all the cigars and the bar manager could care less about your opinions. this place sucks!!!! oh And by the way, you could get better food at mcdonalds, and its cheaper.
