As a Trucker I stay at the Oasis often. I came back through the area to find out the Oasis was sold and no longer offered the Kitchenettes that I so desired. The manager was down right rude. I complained about the price and she said I don't have to rent to you if I don't want too and then told me to take it or leave it. I left it. The Oasis was the last of the cheep motels, it's sad to see it go. Now it looks like an office building. The bluish green neon no longer surrounds the facade welcoming weary travelers to a cheap nights stay. I refused the room, just because the manager was rude and also because of the price was the same as the Comfort Inn and suets. There I get a free breakfast with each days stay. So I tipped my hat to the Oasis, hoped in my truck and drove on. To all the truckers that use to stay there, I wish you luck in finding a new place that welcomes us like the Oasis once did. If you are anything but high class, this motel is no longer for you. If you are high class, this motel has little to offer you as well except a high price. No I do not recommend this motel any more to anyone.

Day manager treated me like ****. Room was a remodeled room but did not look like it, the yellow walls had soda on them from 1962. The mattress had springs popping out of it, I did not get a good nights rest for my business proposal. The office has a fax machine but not for guest use, I had to track down a working fax machine to get word back to my home office to send me the missing paperwork for the proposal. My accounting firm LOST THE $50,000 GOLDSTINE ACCOUNT thanks to the OASIS MOTEL. I asked for a refund from the manager and she said there were no refunds. I asked to speak to the owner and she said there was not an owner just a corporation. I asked for the number to the corporation so I could file a complaint and she said she has no way to contact the corporation. I am notifying the Better Business Buro about the motel to see if I can get a refund VIA them. I would not recommend this motel to anyone, not even my worst enemy. This is a blue collar motel that they are trying to turn into the Sheraton Yankee Clipper. It's not a beach front motel. It does not have room service or business facilities. There is not a pool, nor is their a gym to work out. They have a greater chance of staying alive by slapping neon all over the place like the motels in Hollywood Florida and charging $50.00 a night. It is not worth the $125.00 I paid for my nights stay.

Manager was rude, the room was the size of a closet. Newly remodeled room my A$$! The springs on my mattress I could feel. The sheets were stained. I asked the manager for a refund and she told me there were no refunds. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.
