My Subaru broke down in Denver and I had it towed all the way here after 3 mechanics in Denver told me it was a $3000 repair. Jeff listened to the motor for a minute, got out his specialty tool and had it completely fixed in 5 minutes. He charged me $20. I knew I trusted him for good reason! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We took my Son's Bronco to Star because our regular mechanic was swamped, and we needed service right away. Huge mistake!
In our experience, Jeff is incompetent. We paid for the "repair", and my Son didn't get six blocks down the street before the problem that brought the vehicle there in the first place started up again, leaving us to tow it to our usual mechanic. In our mechanic's opinion, the problem would have been obvious had it been properly test driven.
Additionally, Jeff was rude to my Son and I.
Don't make the same mistake we made. Stay away from star!

I've never had anything good to say about a mechanic... Until now... Jeff does quality work at a fair price! After being ripped off all over town over the years, it's nice to finally find a solid mechanic. Thanks Jeff!

I'm relatively new in town. Jeff was recommended by locals. Service was prompt, efficient and fair priced. Would recommend for any auto repairs.
