This place was Golds Gym..and had many bad rip off reviews. Now it's changed its name but apparently not it's way of doing business. Their website offers $1.00 or $9.99/monthly memberships, when you click on the "Join Now" it only gives you a $20/month option.  Their web site offers a 7 day free pass, there is nothing printed about any restrictions.  When you call them, or go in, they then tell you that by taking the 7 day free pass you loose Membership options.  In other words, they take away what they call "Special Promotions". Either offer a Free trial, or DON'T.   They boast that they have "No Contracts".  They say they only have "Agreements".  But your still responsible for paying the "Agreement" term length or a "Buy out" penalty.  How can this be if I haven't signed a "Contract"? They tell you  can quit anytime as long as you give them notice.  You can see by other comments that they don't stop billing you even after you do this.    Lies, Double Talk, frustrating refusal to give you a simple straight answer.  When you sit down and write down what they are telling you, you'll see it's only a few dollars difference between each "Special Promotion". This being the case, why try so hard to deceive new customers and make people distrust you from the start?  How can anyone trust you with their Credit Card if you're not telling them the truth from day one?   Considering the bad reputation most Health Clubs have for ripping you off, this is not a good way to get new customers.
