Motel 6

Very excellent place to stay.

The outside looked ok, but then again it was late at night and we may have missed a couple things. The room was Filthy, the bed was slanted and I was rolling off the bed all night. Dirty, smelly and nasty. The carpets in the hallways were disgusting, the carpets in the room were just as bad. I refused to have a shower in the bathroom, it was just so dirty. The remote for the TV was all put together with tape, there was no phone in the room, it was hot when we got there and the smell was terrible. We asked for a room on the main floor, they refused and would only give us the second floor. Next door there was 2 big dogs who barked all night, when we asked them if we could change rooms, they told us there would be a $20.00 fee. We did not ask to be kept up all night by dogs, that was their placement in where we slept, so they should have moved us, or not put us there at all. I was afraid to lay my head on the pillow so I covered it with a towel we had in the truck. After driving all the way up there from St. Louis, Missouri, on our way back home to Toronto, we were exhausted and just needed sleep. By the time 7am came around, we just decided we had enough and headed home. It was the worst experience we have ever had at a Motel 6, the reason we stayed there is because on the way on our trip we stopped at a Motel 6 in Indiana, and that was immaculate, clean, fresh and a great stay.



DO NOT stay at this hotel if you want a clean, tidy and quiet place to stay. This is not a place for any human being to be honest. It is just pure Nasty.



We came home from that hotel, with bed bugs. The managers were all standing out front swearing and smoking when we pulled up. One went inside with my husband to book the room while the other stayed out with his friend and lit a big joint, yes, a big joint. When he was finished booking the room, he came out to smoke with his "friends"



I have never been to appalled by any hotel ever. We make trips out to the mid-west 3x a year, I will never stay there again, I am just very thankful that we did not have our baby with us, It was just all around... HORRID.... Don't waste your money, stay at the super 8 up the Interstate 2 exits, spend the extra $20.00, it is worth it, believe me.
