Mercy Clinic Internal Medicine Jefferson

I was admitted for a same day procedure, a hydrodistension and cytoscopy for my bladder. I was admitted quickly and thought the nurses were nice and professional. The problem came after the procedure when I woke up from the anesthesia. The pain was a 10 on a scale 1 to 10. I take morphine for my pain on a regular basis so maybe Dr. Enger thought that was adequate to relieve my pain. It wasn't, and I didn't have access to my pain meds until I was discharged. Even though Dr Enger was nice and professional, he was too brief with me and the nurse didn't seem concerned that my pain was incredibly severe. He should have prescribed something short term for the pain that was way beyond my normal pain. It took 4 days to recover from that procedure. Maybe an ok hospital to be treated at as long as pain is not the issue.

I went in to the hospital which is never fun but with the help from my nurse Brittany and nurses assistant Anna they made the experience entertaining and everyone was in an exceptional great mood the cardiac floor at mercy festus really know how to treat their patients

I was in there two weeks age and the day before, I went in there for adominal pains and they didn't do nothing but to sended me home. So all night long I wus having cold sweats, and dizziness, and fainting, and my husband called off from work, he called the ambulance to take me to mercy again. In the ambulance they could not find any vans to get blood they could not find a blood pressure I was a most die. I blood internal from my ovary tubal pregnancy. I had a emergency surgery that morning and feeling better after 2 weeks ago. That wus a eye opening. I don't want to die.

Amazing place. A patient has 5 doctors and no two communicate! 3 doctors give 3 diagnosis in a matter of hours and throw a family through total caos! Wouldn't take my dog there!

I have started a petition for change regarding the treatment of patients and their families by the medical staff here. I have went to the patient advocate, he's a nurse he did nothing. didn't even document my email do not go here. fair warning

My daughter and 13 month old grandson were just there. After waiting from 10:30 til 11:45 my daughter asked when the doctor or nurse practitioner would be in to see my grandson. She was told none were assigned to see him yet. My grandson had been crying since approximately 9:30. On top of that there were roaches in Exam Room 1 which is where they were. When my daughter brought it to a nurses attention they said they would let housekeeping know. My daughter left immediately and reported it to the triage desk.

I sat here in the er in a room for 2 hours and 15 minuets in excruciating pain, a clinical nurse came in and said ( I can't have you making noise) A doctor finally came in for 4 minuets and left. I sat there for another 45 minuets then I left, without being treated. Now they want to charge ME 1700.00 for MY pain and suffering! I don't think so!

doctors are great there so are the nurse's.. ok thats the good news the bad and dowen side they dont have a pharmcy opened 24 hrs so if your in observation and have night meds to take and are admitted late forget getting any meds. i was at the emergancy got there at 3:30 in the afternoon didnt get in till 7:00 pm then it took forever for the doctor the test went fast but again took forever then i got admitted at 3:00 a.m. i was there for 12 hours in the ER total once in a room and they didnt have spacwe for me so they put me in the cardiac ward.. huh the ER doctor told me i was a very pateint person well i was in alot of pain it had to be taken care of so i stayed otherwise i would of left... so they are very much either understaffed or just dont care i was told there was 2 doctors on at thaT TIME so i think mpo4re like under staffed this county is growing its obivious the hospital needs to grow also get there hands out of there pockets and care for the people the right way.. i truely feel for these nurses and doctors they need to do something better GROW BUILD!!! get more doctor and nurse's have concern for the patients i will say one thing the staff was concern and caring they are doing to much and no extra help what a burden to put on your employees backs.

The staff that runs all the Dr.'s as far as appointments are liar's. They changed an appointment on me without notifying me and I know of one other person who had this same thing happen to them. My Dr. that I WAS seeing had an assistant also that ALWAYS acted like it was the last place she wanted to be and this translated into MANY mistakes related to her part of my care during appointments. The Main Staff also refused to have the Dr. contact me by phone so I could tell the Dr. I was discontinuing seeing him and forced me to make an appointment JUST to inform him as much and as to why I was leaving. I had to take the appointment just so I could request from the Dr. prescription of my current meds long enough so I could find another Dr.. There was no examination done. All that could have been taken care of with a phone call. We wonder why healthcare costs are so high.

JRMC is a wonderful hospital. The staff is so caring. I was a patient there following surgery and the nurses were fantastic. They answered my call light quickly and made sure my pain medication was working. It's also one of the cleanest hospitals I've ever been in. I recommend JRMC to all my family and friends.
