Pete's Place Restaurant

The food was absolutely delicious however, the service and wait staff needs a major overhaul! After making reservations to secure seating there was no attendant at the door when we arrived. We finally intercepted a waitress picking up an order from the kitchen window to give notification that we had arrived. Our waitress never mentioned the specials that were offered for the day and dropped off a cup of coffee that was never ordered. We were able to get her attention to reconfirm the beverage order which she acknowledged but provided no apology for the mistake. We received our entrees in a timely manner which was excellent then the waitress delivers the bill to the table without asking if we required anything else. I then advised her that we were planning to order dessert but we were not given the option since the bill was presented before it was established whether we wanted anything else and if we were ready for the bill.

The food and atmosphere in this little hidden treasure are great! This establishment was a coney dive for years, what they've done with the place is amazing. The prices are quite reasonable and the food is delicious! I have yet to have a meal there that I did not like. The wait staff is very attentive and you are greeted with warm home-made mini scones when you enter the door - what's not to like?! The menu consists of not your run of the mill omelettes/breakfasts, lunch and dinner. They even allow you to bring your own bottle of wine for a small fee. If you're in the area and you don't try it out, you are doing yourself a disservice!
