        Terrible customer service. We were remodeling a home that we recently purchased and were interested in putting in a hardwood laminate. We brought in both Home Depot and Lowes to provide a bid for the flooring. Each charged the same measuring charge $35. When out to measure both companies stated that due to issues with the subfloor we could not do a hardwood laminate but could do a 3/4in. nail down hardwood. Even though Lowes charged me the $35 to do the measurement and provide a bid for services they never followed through to give us an estimate. After multiple calls to the store and no resolution I eventually get a phone call from someone in their projects dept trying to sell me their services for other things as it was a renovation. I contacted Lowes corporate office and received a generic i'm sorry email from Joseph Bryce but no estimate or refund for that matter as we have since purchased the flooring from Home Depot.

        I went to Lowes to buy hardwood floor. I found a beautiful floor. I paid $6,000 for the flooring and installation. I asked the salesperson how long it would take to have my floor installed and was told a couple of weeks. The flooring would be delivered in about 10 days but it had to acclimate for 4 days and then they would schedule the installation. I thought great it will not be long. Boy was I wrong. I bought the flooring in July and was told they could not install it until Sept 8th.Way longer than I expected. I would not of bought from Lowes if I knew it would take so long.
