They are amazing!! My babies came home so happy and worn out. The staff is amazing and helps you check in and out. The area with the dogs is very clean. Each dog had a comfy bed and blanket area. Very impressed!! Especially for Easter weekend. Thank you!!

absolutely do NOT

I wanted to board my dog there for the first time. They didn't even offer me a tour of the facility. I had to ask and then they said in a few minutes and I heard one girl ask where they should put my dog. When I went back there it looked dirty and even the dogs in daycare were all in cages. The outside area is just a bit of gravel. I asked what time pick up was and they told me between 3 and 5 on Sunday. When I got there on Sunday the girls were all out front smoking and didn't say a word to me. A girl not in any kind of uniform went back to get my dog. Then they charged me for half a day saying that between 3 and 5 was the late pickup and I should have been there by 10am. I paid it and took my dog outside where he then relieved himself like he hadn't gone for a whole day. That night I was out at a movie and my dog (who is completely potty trained) relieved himself in the house. They must have never taken him out of the cage and he was used to going in his kennel. Go elsewhere!!!!!

We love Dogs Day Inn!

I have taken my first dog there since she was a puppy and have taken my other 2 now since I have gotten them. As soon as we turn the bend to get there, the dogs know and get so excited to get there! They love Amy and the staff. We are moving and are very sad that they have to leave their doggie day care!

NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what a nasty dirty place and what in the heck is wrong with the people who work there, especially the owner. If your dog comes home exhausted its probably because he was crying and whining, trying to get out of his cage all day. Do NOT take your dog there if you really care abt. him!!!!!!!i cannot believe that ANYBODY would give this place a good review. They probably write all the good ones themselves.

day care dog

My German Shepard has been going to day care 5 days a week for over a year and we love it! I never thought I would be sending a dog to day care but this has been wonderful. He come home exhausted every day...this is great. We have boarded both of our dogs there, multiple times with no issues. I have been very happy with everything at Dog Days Inn. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When we first started there our dog was just 6 months old. They started working/training with him right away. I would even joke after a weekend that he was with his step parents and they were going to have to start all over again.

I went and asked part 3

I plan to closely monitor my dog when it comes home from boarding and daycare here if I use it. But, I also have a child and have learned that in daycare and babysitting nothing is perfect. The staff seemed willing to answer all my questions and they also seemed ready to offer any advice/suggestions possible. I am sure, if anything, they will be less likely to offer personal advice...which leaves all the complainers to go and pay for the professional trainer's advice.**Wondering why one dog was shaking so bad beause dogs were barking....1 post said it was tolerated and 1 post said there dog was scared of.......drumroll....dogs barking???? Isn't that what dogs do???

I went and asked part 2

2. horrible by Vernda-I asked to speak to this employee. While i found her ummm. DIRECT she refused to say anything bad about any previous employee... which would be more than I can say for the roommate that is hiding behind you behind this post. So, I am questioning your honesty. Dogs are given 2 1 hour play sessions and the rotation begins 7 minutes before the hour is ended. So, as I was honestly explained to at times 60 full minutes may not be realized if the 7 minutes is exceeded. She also stated the donations are given to CARC and managed by that non profit organization...Since the kennel does not even charge them boarding or for the food provided I don't feel the donations are being mis-used. In fact, I was told over 10 of the CARC dogs on site are on some type of daily medication. I was told the staff is there to facilitate play between dogs with other play sessions available for human dog playtime.

I went and asked

In response to the negative postings I would like to say....If you feel so strongly about what is going on and the welfare of your animal address it with the owner/staff/person at the facility. If you really want to make change and have a concern why not address it where it could actually create change. As someone who works full time and knows every business has faults and since I was going to take my dog there decided to print them and bring them in and inquire. toni- I actually got to speak to the person that remembered the puppy barking at the bobble head cat. She actually stated that you indicated your dog had become violent with smaller family members and you appeared exasperated. She instructed you to go to a trainer regularly and said that she had been taught that rolling a dog on its' back can be an effective way to get its attention without hurting the dog. Also, since you weren't thrown out apparently the barking behavior is tolerated...

Horrible

I know from my roommate working there that this is a horrible place and I would never send any animal there. First of all they are WAY too under-staffed and the owner is too cheap to fix that. They treat their employees with so much disrespect it is disgusting. The dogs are ONLY given 2 45 minute sessions a day. The dogs are kept in cages most of the day. It says on their website that during nap time they play soft music and dim the light? Bull. They also have dog wash donations for one of the rescues that has heartworm, but that dog has never received treatment, even though they have the money to start it. No one their is trained properly and if anyone messes up, they have no problem screaming at the employees and scaring the dogs. One employee was trained to actually STEP on the dogs paws if they pull on a leash. During playtime the dogs are not played with, only screamed at. Beware of this place. Don't scar your pet for life.

Great place, with people who took amazing care of my little baby!

I had nothing but great experiences with Dog Days Inn. My little dachshund Ernie attended day care twice a week, and also boarded on numerous occasions. Most time upon picking him up, he didnt want to leave. He was always very well taken care of, and always happy to be spending the day there. I never felt that I needed to worry about my baby while he was in the care of the staff at Dog Days. My husbands military orders recenctly have taken us to Florida, and I cant find a comparable day care anywhere, which is very depressing! I wish there were more businesses like Dog Days around!!!

Not what they said they were

I took my dog here based on the time line on the website saying it is an open play daycare. The first day I didn't take a tour. The second day I took a tour. The boarders are kept in the front in cages. They had a husky in the same size kennel/cage as a shitz-zu. The worst part is that all the day care dogs have to be walked past these dogs on arrival and departure. I then went to the doggy daycare area. THey have all the dogs in an open area. On the website it shows that they play there. In reality there are different size cages all on the walls. All these cages face each other. So, the dogs are stuck in cages looking at the other dogs. My dog came home shaking the whole first night and now I know why, the dogs never stop barking. I was told by the worker there that they only let your dog out for two one hour sessions a day. My dog won't pee in a cage so, that explains why the first day I got her home she pooped three times on a 15 min walk. Also, though I only went one day of my

3rd Strike

The first time I boarded my dog there I got her back after 2 weeks and she had an eye infection and diarrhea. Since I had only heard good things about the "Dog Days Inn" beside it being a bit more expensive I dismissed it as a coincidence. The 2nd time I boarded her I left exact instructions concerning feeding and so forth and her little issue with eating poop. When I got her back she had diarrhea again. Luckily I had set up a vet appointment in anticipation. I gave them one last chance during the holidays and left even more instructions and double labled all the food items. When I picked her up it was the worst of all 3 experiences. All her things I had sent with her were as dirty as can be, urine all over the outside of her kennel and poop all in her fur. She had lost weight even though I sent exta food and she was not being walked her 6-7 miles a day. She came back with diarrhea and stones in her poop, too. I am not sure what they call taking care of the dogs. For the price they char
