Dr Martha Myers OD

I encountered an office manager that was extremely unhelpful, short, rude and just plain incompetent. She was unable to verify my insurance plan. After I took care of it with Blue Cross she still denied my plan coverage and made me pay out of pocket. She refused to speak to the Blue Cross rep on the phone. The long and the short is, never again will I use this clinic. Unfortunately Dr. Myers does a good job, it's just the staff she chooses to surround herself with that spoils the experience. A little training and some manners would work wonders.

Office team were unprofessional and were talking about my insurance coverage in front of everyone, laughing and complaining about having to call and see what was able to be covered. I told Dr. Myers I've never had contacts before and wanted a prescription for them because I don't like to wear my glasses all of the time. She did the wrong exam and it did not include a prescription for contacts at all, just glasses, the only reason why I had gone there. During the exam she was being rough with equipment and when I expressed discomfort from her shoving the machine in my face and I even told her that it hurt, she just kept pushing it back. I understand you need to do your job but I've never had an exam where I was in pain because of the doctor pushing the equipment so hard against my face.

This was by far the worst eye care experience of my life. I would never recommend this place to anyone. While I was waiting in line I was ignored several times by the receptionist there. When I was reviewing my order it was the wrong prescription handed back to me and was entirely messed up. When it was finally straightened out I got home only to find out the contacts they provided me with had been expired for several months when they gave them to me. It was such a hassle to even return them and clearly the error was not mine. I don't understand how you could think it okay to mess up someone's prescription and not even apologize or offer a refund. Especially, giving out expired lenses leaving your patients susceptible to infections. I will never go here again. Terrible customer service. You can't even trust your provider to order the correct lenses you need. Wasted my time and money and definitely lost my service.

Do not go here if your looking for polite people and a comfortable setting.

awww man. the doc is sweet, gentle, calming, a real professional....and a darn sexy woman! I wont go to another OD again.

Love Dr. Meyers. She is an excellent doctor! Also, Jessica is a real sweetheart, very professional and knowledgable about the business. Makes me feel very at ease.
