Skin CareYour nurses (RN's) have special training in caring for people with disabilities. They will provide direct care, as well as teach you and your family about health and disease/disability, medications, skin care, nutrition, bowel and bladder control, and safety. They will also help you practice things you learn in therapy.
ImmunizationsChildren of all ages may visit but they must be supervised at all times. Those under five years of age should keep visits to one hour or less. Pets with written proof of current vaccinations are also allowed to visit with prior arrangements made through nursing. Pets must be well behaved, house broken, and properly restrained.
ArthritisPolyarticular rheumatoid arthritis and polymyalgia The other 40 percent may have various medical conditions, including cardiac problems and pulmonary disease, but need intensive rehabilitation.
Primary CareThe doctor will oversee your care and help plan rehabilitation through regular visits with you and other team members. Rehabilitation Nurses will assist the doctor in caring for your medical needs. Your primary care doctor may or may not see you while you are here but will be kept informed about your progress.
