izabel sanchez was indeed an unusual encounter. per the customers request we replaced their converters,even though they passed a back pressure test. they approved the work & the price in advance.upon completion they requested the return of their cores, which we denied. occasionally custmers request their parts to be returned or shown so they can see the condition or verify that the parts were replaced. these are external parts and its quite easy to see that they were replaced. many parts such as staters, alternators, & water pumps have cores, which we don't return, converters fall in this category. the units were (welded)on, not screwed on. our prices are quite competitive, we do price shop. the egg illistration came when i was told how cheaply they could buy the parts on the internet. you can buy a dozen eggs rather inexpensively @ safeway, however it does cost more for service @ ihop. i do not feel we were rude. we simply would not acquise to their demands. i am thankful & appreciative that they returned & paid for the work, after i called them, when they left & took the vehicle without paying. i'm sorry they are unhappy, i do not feel they were treated rudely.we have an excellent reputation, this is only our 4th bbb complaint in 14 yrs of service.
