    Been going to the Head Shop since I can remember. Always left very happy with the results. I have yet to see an employee that is not caring. I will most definitely recommend this salon to my family and friends!

    I've gone to this salon for many years. They have the finest hair stylist in Farmington. The stylists are knowledgable, caring and really take the time to assess what you want. I have always had the best service and wouldn't consider anyone else to care for my hair. I highly recommend them.

    I went in to get my hair fixed from a bad color. After spending hours upon hours of my day off there, I ended up completely unsatisfied with the service. This wasn't because I was unspecific with what I wanted. No, it was because the stylist was utterly unsure of what she was doing the entire time. She didn't know what affect the bleaches and colors would have on my hair, nor did she know how long she should have to leave said bleach or dye in. It seemed to be a big guessing game. Once I left, I had gone home reasonably satisfied. However, after seeing the color of my hair in the light, -- the salon was a bit dark -- it wasn't anything at all what I had seen in the salon, nor was it anything I had described. I had wanted a nice golden brown, I left with an extremely coppery brown. I called back and asked nicely for it to be fixed because it wasn't what I had asked for. After the stylist had talked to her boss -- apparently the owner of the business -- she said I'd be welcome to come back, but I would have to repay for the entire service. I kindly rejected and went somewhere else. Simply because I wasn't confident at all in the business or stylist who had, and was going to attempt to fix the mistaken color. I called back a couple days later asking for a refund of the coloring services. After talking to a manager, and the owner herself, I was declined a refund simply because it was against policy. I've never seen this policy before (I've been to this salon many times before), and it wouldn't surprise me if she had made up this "policy" on the spot. Now, don't get me wrong, good policy is always great to have and enforce, but after my experience and the outcome of the coloring, I thought it was a reasonable request to get my money back. I was hung up on by the owner. I find this unacceptable on many, many levels. In short, I highly recommend going elsewhere for your hair styling needs. The bosses, managers, and owners are incredibly rude and unreasonable, and the experience I had here was one of the worst ever.
