Founded in 1956 in in Farmington NM, CBF Services is owned and operated by William Sharer. An extremely low employee turnover rate ( our typical employee has been with us for eight years in an industry that averages 100% turnover every 13 months ) means that our collectors are experienced and productive. Our collectors tend to be more mature than is typical in the collections business, which we believe better helps them determine if people really cannot pay or if they simply do not want to. Having faced and worked through hard times themselves, our collectors are much more likely to be able to help the consumer find solutions to their problems. In addition to an experienced and skilled staff, CBF Services uses the very latest in technology. Our high-speed, computerized system allows us to contact thousands of people per day. Additionally, it allows you to review our work for you on-line at any time, you can send us new accounts through our secure web site, and we can customize collections letters for our clients based on their particular needs. Of course, anyone can acquire the latest in technology. The key to success is the people who use that technology, and this is where we believe CBF Services provides much more than other agencies.
