Master Shoemaker

Not a good experience today! I took brought my Christian Louboutin shoes to this shop last week to have my red soles restored. I asked about cleaning my shoes as well. I was given a price of $25. When I returned today to pick up my shoes, I was told the price was $50. He stated he had to paint the shoes. It didn't appear they had been painted. He never called to ask if I was ok with that and the new price would be $50. When I stated that he never mentioned a new price. His reply was I didn't ask. He stated it was up to me to ask. I never heard of such a thing, that I would have to inquiry about the price. Especially when he quoted me a price. In looking at my shoes, I pointed out it didn't appear they had been painted. He said he couldn't paint certain parts. The paint would end up on the reptile part of the shoes. He stated very rudely, that I should find another shop to take my shoes to. It's apparent, he doesn't like to be questioned. This was the third time I had been to this shop. Each time, he comes from the back, never smiling. This shop has a cold, unfriendly atmosphere. I don't want to give this business any star rating...Because I had such a terrible experience.
