General Info

The Fairview Park Police Department is a law enforcement agency that works to provide a safe and secure environment. It is comprised of more than 40 full-time sworn and auxiliary officers, clerical staff and school crossing guards. The department conducts accident and crime investigations and arrests criminal law violators, as well as assists with interpersonal disputes. The Fairview Park Police Department operates bike patrol and motorcycle units, as well as offers a fingerprint identification program. It hosts the Lost Child Alert and Technology (LOCATER) pogram, which allows agencies to distribute posters of missing individuals electronically and transmit the information to various media outlets. The department supports the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program, which focuses on the prevention of illegal usage of drugs, gang activities and violent behavior.
