General Info

The Department of Community and Recreation Services offers a range of after-school programs for children. Its after-school programs include homework, computer education and dance classes. The department has an advisory council that offers ideas for various programs and holds monthly community meetings. It provides athletic, senior and teen services. The department s athletic services include track and field games for children between the ages of 9 and 14. It also provides standing long jump, softball throw and 500-Meter dash games. The Department of Community and Recreation Services offers more than 35 programs for people with disabilities.
