Provided by SuperpagesAt first I was irritated by the wait, not to be seated but on the server to even acknowledge us, but then, the food... mouth watering delicious! Unbelievably good. Perfect temp. cooked perfectly and the portion, of course, was perfect! Highly recommend.
Recently had a business luncheon at the restaurant and to my surprise it is a mistake to have 2 tea bags with your meal. The waiter, an older non-gentleman, came around to take our order and I chose hot tea. He came around with a tea box. I took 2 tea bags; One before eating and one for after eating. Any fool knows that if you haven't had anything to eat all day should have something hot to drink first. Any way he brought the hot water for the tea before I had my meal. He came around and asks to refill the others' drinks (they all had ice tea); didn't ask me if I needed more hot water. I let it slide.
Now, we are all still discussing business and everyone is pretty much finish with their meal. The waiter came around again and refilled everyone’s ice tea and still didn't ask if I needed a refill. Well I tried to get his attention 3 times. He just walked by me and didn't even acknowledge me. He was inches away from me. So I said "excuse me can I have some hot water". To my surprise he turned around and said "Did you think that I didn't notice that you took 2 tea bags? Huh!! Did you think that I didn't know that you would need more hot water? " Everyone at the table was shocked, including me. Here I am AT A BUSINESS LUNCHEON, and this piece of *(&^ treated me this way. I wonder who he thinks was paying the bill. I didn't get nasty I just told him to not bother with the hot water. Now in my mind it could be anything. Maybe he was having a bad day but you go figure.... 6 people at a table 1 black person took 2 tea bags. I did leave a nice big tip… all one (1) cent. I get better service at a gas station.

Provided by SuperpagesI've been to Blue Iguana many times over that last 10+ years, usually for dinner. The food better than average, certainly better than any franchise establishment in the area. Service is also always better than nearby places. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The bar is a completely different experience than the dining room -- way too loud and smoky that we rush into the dining room from the front desk before were covered with cigarette smoke! Overall one of my favorite restaurants in the area and definitely recommend to everyone.
