Cat Protection Society

Amazing Shelter, really. More like this are needed, at least until pet owners do the right thing and get their animals spay and neuter. They cats (and dogs) good, healthy temporary homes until they can find their forever homes. Everyone should pitch in for this place.

We visited the new location on Dec. 17, 2010. We drove up from Winter Haven to drop off a christmas donation and to check out the new building. We were very impressed with the new facility. The staff, as always, were pleasant and let us look around. We adopted our two cats from the previous location - one of them in April of 1999 and the other in May of 2001. (Commanders Data and Jordy of Star Trek are their names) They are spoiled and live a great life. "Eat, sleep, poop and play" is their motto!!We have tried to stay in touch with the facility and will continue to do so, because we love animals so much. Wish we could take more home. We went to their new location in Eustis on 07/28/07. We found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. We spent time with 2 female kittens. One was found in an abandon house with mother & siblings. Besides her mother, she was the only survivor so she was very, very fragile & scared. Now, we have 2 beautiful and healthy kittens who we absolutely love. Thanks CPS!
