Nextcare Urgent Care

I have been in extreme pain for months. The staff saw to my needs right away. I was treated like garbage at the er here in town and by a specialist. This place was great. They took the time with me and did everything right by the book. Awesome place!! B. Winkelman. My visit was in June 2017.

Went there to get wrist checked out. Paid over $100 for the visit and the most that got done was vitals checked. There's clearly something wrong with wrist and the only thing the doctor did was poke it and said to wait a few more days and then come back. Said something to him about the cost of the visit and he said what you want medicine. Said no I want to know what's wrong with my wrist. Will never go back again.

First Choice Urgent Care is properly named. The only other perfect name for them would be Perfect Choice!



I'm out of town on business and got into some poison ivy before leaving home and it began to spread viciously about the time I got to Elizabeth City.



I looked up urgent care centers in the area and First Choice was close by so I took a chance.



They were extremely professional and fast. They took care of my needs and were very personable.



I would highly recommend them for any of your urgent care needs!!

We use this Urgent Care often. Their hours are more convenient that a doctor's office, open later and on weekends. The doctors, nurses and staff are very friendly. Yes there are times you may sit and wait for awhile, but that's why it's an urgent care! There are usually two doctors working at all times. We have visited for asthma, broken toe, sprained ankle, viruses, ingrown toe nail surgery, back injuries. They are able to perform xrays in the office. I would rather visit here any day than the ER. Plus I pay an office visit copay instead of an ER copay. I would recommend this to anyone who really needs care for whatever the reason w/the dr office is closed. They will treat you great.
