        Overall

        I will never take my classic car back to this shop they charged me $165.00 an hour at 5 hours to install a universal joint on a car that has plenty of access to the u-joint. By the way the part only cost $27.00 for a total $852.00!!!!!!!!!! unbealiable!!!!!!!!!!!

        8/3/2015 Christopher, I'm sorry you feel we overcharged you. Our records on 4/23/2013, which is almost 2 years from this review, state that we found a broken rear universal joint and that the front joint had excessive wear. We also found excessive leakage at the differential. After your approval, we drained and disassembled the differential, replaced the worn pinion seal, inspecting all bearings and gears. Then we resealed and refilled the differential, and then reinstalled the drive shaft with two new universal joints. Total parts of $113.00 with total labor of $820. and we gave you a new customer discount of $82.00; making the total bill with tax $861.00. Sadly, we see you also negatively reviewed another reputable shop, Burroughs & Sons. Please find someone you can trust with your classic baby!
