Orangetheory Fitness

I have been a member of orange theory for about 8-9 months now, the work outs are great however the staff and management need to be properly trained on explaining cancellation policies to clients. I went in to cancel my membership back in December but was convinced to "freeze" my membership rather than canceling. (I paid for the month of October,November,& December and did not use my membership once during that time) on February 5th I decided to cancel. I was told that my cancelation would be effective that day however they would be charging me for another month. HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE? I asked them why, they said that is their policy. Why wasn't I told about this policy back in December??? Why would they charge me after I haven't used their facility since OCTOBER/NOVEMBER? I told them that I will be disputing the charge if they charge me. I checked my account 15 minutes after canceling & they had charged me.I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Instead of flirting with your clients, you should take more time informing them of your ridiculous policies to avoid any confusion.
