Bike Depot

My experience at this establishment was quite pleasant-well, until a man around the age of 55 entered the store. Yes Mr."Bm A.", I suppose you did not see me sitting on the couch while I was getting my bicycle repaired, did you? I was sitting on the owner's couch while he was looking over my bicycle (he said he could most likely repair it while I waited). A gentleman then entered the store and demanded that his bicycle be repaired immediately. After being told several times that he was in the middle of a repair, the man still insisted. The technician, who I later learned was the owner, finally gave in and began to look at the rude customer's bike. After finding nothing wrong with it, the customer began to get volatile. He insisted that he did not like the owners attitude, and promptly called him an a**hole. After about five minutes of constant verbal abuse (which was inappropriate to begin with, let alone in front of me, a 43 year old woman) the man left after the owner threatened to call 911. When I heard the graceless customer threaten to write a poor online review, I promised the owner that I would write a good one myself. Well, the truth of the matter is that this is a fine establishment to buy a bicycle or get your bicycle repaired. I have bought my bicycle and my children's bicycles there over the last decade or so. I have had few problems with any of these bikes, with the exception of a few flat tires, and, the day I came in, I was getting my worn brake pads replaced. Just the fact that he has always been able to fix my ride while I waited has been wonderful. Mr. "Bm A" says you should vote with your wallet, and, quite frankly, I agree. If you must spend your money (as is often a difficult thing to do these days), you should spend it with someone who cares about you and your ride, and cares enough about his business to discount MY repair for having to listen to the verbal abuse of a man who seemed to be a simple-minded fool. And it wouldn't be right not to thank the mutton-headed man, Mr. "Bm. A" for gaining me that discount.
