A Dog's Day of Beauty

I’m so happy I found this place! Amanda bathed and groomed my ChowChow. She did a fantastic job. I like the transparency of this place. You can see them working on the dogs unlike other places that take your dog behind closed doors. You know your dog will be treated with respect.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!! They took 7 hours then tried to charge me $30 more than what they originally quoted me at and did not even finish my dog! When I refused to pay the extra 30 they never quoted me for they refused to give me my dog and started a verbal fight calling me a cu*t a b*tch telling me to fu*k myself I had to call the police to get my pets back and as they took them out of the cage they smacked my dog with the dog brush! I am currently taking my pets to the vet to check for abuse and calling my lawyer! This place is horrific!

I've been taking my dogs to A Dog's Day of Beauty for many years. I've always found them to be professional, kind and caring to all of my pets.

I think it's pretty sad, that you will allow anyone to post anything without verification of the truth. Or who the person is! ruthylover doesn't have a clue as to what she is talking about. The groomer she is referring to left A Dog's Day of Beauty in 2011, because she moved out of the state. The other groomers that work there were working when it was located on Holabird Avenue and they are all good and patient. This lady lives on the same street and her high strung dog knew the area and being a big dog jumped the gate in the shop and was able to jump against the door and push it open. The groomers RAN after him in order to save him from being hit by a car. We were not aware at the time that the owner lived on the corner next to our shop. The owner should explain how nervous her dog is and that it always takes at least 3 people from her house to walk the dog anywhere. He pulls his head out of his collar all the time. When the shop was on holabird avenue the groomers had to come out and slip a better leash on him to help get him into the shop. One time the dog went into what Linda referred to as the crocodile roll and he seriously injured her hand! yes the dog escaped from the shop but the groomers did run after and catch up with him. If they grabbed at him quickly it was for his protection and since he is skiddish I am not surprised that her passed some urine. The dog was fine and luckily he was not hit by a car!!!!

This place is horrible they not as clean as they look in the pictures. When they moved to there new location they lost the only good groomer. The two new groomers they have are horrible with dogs, they over book so they are not focusing on your dog. With the old groomer my dog was fine, but ever since she left my dog apparently get out of there building. My dog apparently get out his collar, jump a back back, and pushes open the front door. Then they don't finish there job, my dog ran all the way back to my house yes they followed him but they grabbed him so hard there was a pee stain in front of my house. So you know my dog not perfect but ill tie him up to go into a store he stay there with no trouble and he does not have accidents from fear unless he extremely scared.If you have a big dog or even a fast one i recommend you don't go here unless you want your dog to get hit.Additional Information while looking over my dog found out he ran because they clipped his skin on his nails three time and screwed up all his nails.

I have been taking my yorkie poo to a Dog's day of beauty since my dog was born 2 years ago. They have always done a great job, and the price is great considering the quality of service.



I have heard a few things about some of the other groomers, so make sure to always ask for Linda. She's the only person who I want grooming my dog.

When we got our Bichon almost 11 years ago, we tried a few groomers and he disliked all of them. We found A Dog's Day of Beauty when he was about a year old. Our dog loves going to the groomer! It is amazing; he can't wait to get in there and see Linda.



Over the years, the staff there has been friendly, accommodating and great to work with. Our dog is always cut the way we like and he always seems happy when we pick him up. At one point, we moved over a half an hour away from Dundalk, but for 6 years, we still drove the distance to A Dog's Day of Beauty. They were worth the trip!



If you are looking for experienced groomers who genuinely care about your pet- these ladies are the way to go. I would also like to add, that in all the years we have taken our little guy there, prices have only gone up $5. That is amazing.
