White House Night Club

Elysium breaks the Do Not Call law by repeatedly calling & texting a do not call phone number, despite being repeatedly asked to stop.

Never been there, never done business with them, never will, don't know how they got hold of my contact number.

Stay away.

I went on a saturday nite- the place was packed- the music was GREAT- the bartender, julian, was excellent! I had 2 friends from out of town with me. I heard such great things about Elysium and so i took my guests there to show them what the clubs in detroit were all about. We were having a great time dancing and having cocktails.

about halfway through the nite my 2 friends, who were a white couple in their late 20's, wanted a drink- our bartender julian was slammed- so they walked over to different part of the club that had a smaller bar with couches- almost like a "chill room"- they asked the bartender if they cud get a drink there since the other bar was so crowded- she said yes and got them their drinks- they stood at the bar for a minute while they had their drink and had a cigarette.



i'm on the dancefloor and i get a text message from my friend saying "we were asked to leave"



i met them at the front door and they said while they were standing at the bar an arab jerk grabbed both of them by the shoulder and said "you guys cant be here- this is a private party your kind is not invited to this party" and he proceeded to walk them to the front doors. my girlfriend said "our kind? whats that mean?"

his reply to that was "you're too white"

when she told me this happened i asked the idiot at the door why are my friends being thrown out? he wanted absolutly nothin to do with this situation. the club was loud so while i was trying to talk to this idiot i was kinda leaning into him so that he cud hear me- ohhh bad idea he says "man.. back off.. dont be getting so close" like i was about to jump him or start trouble or something- i am a 5'4 130lb female and he was treating me like i was about to start a fight with him or something!!!

since this idiot was absolutly no help i saw a bouncer at the side and i told him the situation and said "cud u please come help me sort this all out?"

he shook his head no and says "i cant do anything"

i said "why were my friends asked to leave?"

again he tells me he cant help me!!!

so after paying $14 to park $40 for our cover and blowing all kinds of cash at the bar we had to leave and no one even cared!!! this was the worst bar experiance i've ever had!!! we went there to have a fun nite of dancing and my friends get thrown out for being too white? and to make matters worse not one person that works there would tell me why this all happened!!! i will never go to this bar again and i wud never recommend this bar to any of my "white" friends!!!

What a shame!!! The place was beautiful- the drinks were generous, the bartenders were so polite and attentive, the music was excellent!!! But we were too white and i guess our kind was not invited!!!
