Send someone to the hospital and did not contact the family for two days then when you want to talk to someone no one's at the front desk don't want to help you very unprofessional!!!

if youv’e had a bad experience here email me at dabutaluv1@gmail.com my mother was a resident here and there was three separate incidents that made it imperative to remove her from this place. i'll actually start with the 2nd was within 2 weeks of her arrival she was transferred to emergency at beaumont, she was dehydrated and severely lethargic. the staff there also discovered a bed sore on her posterior. when she was transferred back to river view, i made inquiry as to her being checked for the bed sore to make sure additional treatment wasn't necessary, the reply was given to me that "their care facility had different standards than beaumont, and what they called a bed sore might only be a pimple" i was flabbergasted such an incredulous statement would be attempted for a professional organization. 1st incident occurred on 8-7-2014 my sister was there on another occasion, and had inquired as to my mom receiving her pain medication, the nurse said she would be there after seeing to 2 other patients, she waited 3 hours all while my mom was in pain, when the nurse finally arrived she informed my sister that there was no pain meds ordered and she had to text message the doctor, which should have been done immediately seeing as my mom was transferred there from having surgery and was in severe pain. the following day when she was visiting ,other one of the nurses had the nerve to say to her, "you don't have to come by every day to check on her we are taking care of your mom" i don't know if this was intended to be thoughtful seeing as my sister was going through radiation treatment or in concern for the close scrutiny of our mothers care. my sister simply replied "you can't tell me how often i can visit my mother! ". the final incident was on 8-16-2014 we were contacted by the staff and informed that mom was returned to the emergency room at beaumont gross point, and her leg was bleeding, unpin arriving there i asked my mom what happened, she described two nurses at the river view care facility and said they had "shook her like you would a baby saying to her she needed to be ashamed of herself. and bumped her leg on the edge of the bed. the doctor at the emergency room simply stated that her skin had a split in it and he couldn't say definitively what the cause could have been but his words were "skin doesn't split like that by itself" we had to make quick plans not to have our mom returned to the river view location seeing as the ambulance was all ready in route to come get her. in conclusion our experience with the river view rehab was a complete night mare!

STAY AWAY!!!!!...my sweet awesome unforgettable father was dropped here while he was to be receiving rehab for recent spinal surgery...dropped twice when he told the aides he could not stand...they insisted...he fell from wheelchair with nothing to grab onto...NOTHING ! He was a big guy a Korean vet...how degrading????!!! Never received a suitable meal for a diabetic...they did NOT have it written in records he was a diabetic....NEVER received oxygen which he was to have 24 hrs of while there...HORRIBLE PLACE....what happened to dad?? He passed from results of all listed above and add to that overmedication from RIVERVIEW..led to respiratory distress led to ICU led to ventilator...led to MRSA...led to my daddy in heaven.

Very abusive to employees. Not family friendly at all. Places employees in danger.
