        Bob Maxey Lincoln first opened its doors on Gratiot Avenue in Detroit in 1972 by Robert Maxey Sr., who worked his way up from the Kentucky countryside. He moved the Lincoln dealership to its current location on the Detroit-Grosse Pointe border in 1982. While locations have changed and others added, the constant has been family. All of Mr. Maxey's children began washing cars and sweeping sidewalks. He stressed that every customer was to be taken care of like family, with respect and honesty. While he is no longer with us, his sons continue to honor his memory and are proud to have added 2 Ford stores to the family, in Detroit and Howell. Now his grandchildren are learning to deliver the same high level of customer service. We are proud of his legacy and work hard every day to earn your trust.
