Canine & Company Inc

Canine and Company is a safe place to bring your fur babies!! I have been taking my dogs here for 8 years now. They have boarded with them multiple times, and also gone in for baths and play group. I highly recommend them!!

I lost my poor baby after having him groomed here!

I got my dog Max back after he was groomed. He looked ok but wasn't acting himself. I was told by the groomer that the process can be stressful on some dogs and to just keep an eye on him. Later that day, after still acting unusual he started having a seizure. I rushed him to the vet but it was too late. He died shortly after we arrived. The vet did an autopsy and said he had trauma to his head, like if he was hit, kicked, or fell onto it. I don't know what happened while he was there but I do know that I will NEVER trust them with another one of my dogs and will not allow anyone I know to go there either!

Every time I take my dog Duke there something happens to him. He got terribly sick and it didn't seem to matter when I called to tell them, he came home with 4 large holes in his side (the vet said he was bitten by another dog) and they had no idea what or when it happened, and worst of all he had a broken foot and they told me that his feet were just sore and to let him rest a week or two and he will be fine. The owners seen to smile and act like they care but in my opinion they have a lot of work to do! Not to mention, whenever he would come home he would stink! I have found other places that do a way better job for cheaper. Look elsewhere!

I brought my dog Bella there to spend the night. When I took the tour I was shown a nice area where all dogs slept. Then I found out later that the area I was shown was not where the "small dogs" sleep. I was then shown an area that looked like a basement that was next to a furnace and hot water tank with smaller crates than the one I was told she would be in. The area was cold and depressing and I wanted to cry. My husband and I were lied to when we went there and I'm sure they lie to many more. The owners don't even live there anymore and I heard a gentleman say the cameras cameras didn't work either. My Bella is my baby and she deserves better. My husband and I will never recommend this place and will be looking elsewhere.

I have used Canine & Company for boarding several times over the past few years. They do a real nice job taking care of my dogs. The facility is clean and secure and my dogs always come happy and tired!

I normally use another boarding facility that is much closer to where I live but everyone should have a good back up plan. I have no problem bringing my dogs to Canine & Company.



PROS: Clean, secure, knowledgeable staff, a very good facility.



CONS: Price. My normal kennel does just as good of a job, is a little cheaper, has some big kennels instead of only large crates (my dogs can share a big kennel which makes them happy & gives me a discount). My normal kennel also doesn't charge a flat rate like Canine & Company. My normal place has multiple dog discounts, extended stay discounts, 2 dogs sharing a kennel discount etc... and more flexible hours for pick-up without charging extra for daycare (if a dog is picked up in a reasonable time).



Even so, I have no problem keeping my dogs at Canine & Company and would recommend them to friends & family.

i was referred by WNYCAPM. I like them, and my dogs like and seem comfortable with them. They do a good job, but i wish their prices were a little cheaper on some things. I've found cheaper places that do just as good a job as they do. Every now and again i do flip flop on bringing them there and somewhere else, but i have gone there more than a few times already.



They book up really fast before summer starts (around May)

We absolutely love the way that Canine & Co take care of our dog for grooming, daycare, and boarding. We have used them many times, and will continue to do so. I truly feel my dog is safe and happy going there.
