Denny's

My son and I ate here on Saturday. Our waitress gave us our menus, took our drink order and disappeared. There was no silverware on our table. Our waitress took our order and disappeared again. While we were waiting for our food, we noted tables that had not been cleared (there were only two other tables in the restaurant) and loud music coming from the kitchen. It took almost 25 minutes for our order (one hamburger & one philly steak sandwich ) to arrive. When our order arrived, our waitress finally asked us if we wanted silverware. While she went to get the silverware, I went to get ketchup from another table because ours was empty. After she brought our silverware, my son noticed his sandwich was wrong. We tried to find our waitress to complain, but she had disappeared again. We finally got the attention of the other waitress who offered to have another sandwich made. By this time I was halfway through my dinner. My son did not want another sandwich because we didn't have another 25 minutes to wait. She then took the sandwich off of our order. She said it was all she could do because there was no manager on duty. When our waitress finally reappeared she asked if everything was ok. We told her about the sandwich and she offered to take 15% off our order. (My son had not eaten one bite of his sandwich because of the mushrooms). We told her the other waitress had already taken it off of our bill and we had already paid. We left and won't return! By the way I made a complaint to Denny's and they didn't bother to respond.

The staff at this Denny's needs to be looked at better, my family was seated by a man in a white beater shirt and said this is your table I will be right back then went to the back to carry on his loud conversation about things that should not be discussed in the work place especially with children around. My husband and I having 2 small children and a new baby no one offered up a booster seat of highchair, The woman that finally after about 5 minutes of waiting comes over and says " what do you want to drink" in a rude voice. We got waters and just decided to leave b/c it was hot and they were loud and rude. The food is good but he service is horrible!
