At the Flying R Guest Cabins & Lodge, we have created two charming cabins to complement your Montana adventure. Our guest cabins share 77 acres with our lodge/residence and feature spectacular scenery, cozy accommodations, and room to roam. The Bitterroot Valley, in southwestern Montana, offers a truly unique western experience without the crowds. If your idea of vacation includes time for sunrises & sunsets, stargazing, hiking, bicycling & river running, skiing, wildlife viewing, fishing and the like, join us here at the Flying R in celebrating life's simpler pleasures. The Flying R is located six miles south of Darby, Montana, just five minutes from the West Fork of the Bitterroot River, where the fishing is legendary. Try the Flying R for an early spring trip, in mid-July for the best of summer, or a late fall end of the season outing. Your hosts, Mark and Deborah can suggest local outfitters for guided floats or offer helpful advice on great fishing holes to explore by yourself.
