American National Bank and Trust Company was established in 1909 to provide community-banking services to the citizens of Danville, Va. In the past 95 years, the bank has grown from a single office in Danville to a network of 14 branch locations, two loan production offices and 19 Automated Teller Machines in seven different market areas. American National is a full service bank offering a wide variety of retail and commercial banking services through its office locations in Danville, Martinsville, Pittsylvania County, Henry County, Halifax County, and Lynchburg in Va., and Caswell County in N.C. The bank also has a loan production office in Greensboro, N.C. It offers comprehensive trust and investment services. Personal and business insurance services are also available to its customers through an affiliation with Bankers Insurance.
