Zuzu Handmade Mexican Food Restaurants

Co-workers and I used to go here on a weekly basis. Last year we ran into a problem of roaches. Not on only one occasion, but three. We stopped going. We decided to give it another try a year later and the place has really cleaned up! Fresh paint, new tv's, and new decor. Looks Great!

Went there today w/ co-workers. Had left over food. Return to salsa bar to get some "taco"cups to go. Cashier came up to me in front of other patrons and stated, " You cannot take that. We charge for salsa to go!" I advised I had leftovers, but she did not care.

I haven't eaten at this restaurant in many years and thought I would try it again since I moved back to the old neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was still clean and had maintained it's high standard in quality and service. Everything I have tried there is wonderful, the salsa has a clean tomato flavor with that wonderful cilantro. My husband's palate runs more towards the Taco ???? chains but he loves their Steak Burritos and Gorditas and has just asked me to place our lunch order @ ZUZU's. I highly recommend you try it, you will not be disappointed. A big 5 star rating in my book. Good food for a good price!
