The most disappointed I have every been. NEVER take a bridal gown here for alterations. She had not even started on the dress the day we were to have the first fitting after having the dress for 6 weeks. Before I got there to retrieve the dress the next day she had cut from the bottom of the dress. A dress should NEVER be started from the bottom up if it needs fitting in the bust and other areas. I would not take anything of great value to this place EVER.

Lane Sung Tailor specializes in tailoring, reweaving, men's and women's alterations, custom fitting and monogramming. More uniquely, they offer in-home services as well. The owner Nancy, formally trained in Taiwan, has 28 years of experience in this field. I have been nothing but impressed with her skill level and attention to detail. As a business professional, finding a tailor offering expertise in reweaving within the Dallas area was a challenge until I found Lane Sung Tailor. Although I live in Highland Park, I love their convenient and recently remodeled location at Arapaho and Hillcrest. Trust all your alteration and tailoring needs to Lane Sung Tailor.

After reading the review I decided to give them a try. I am glad I did because they did a great job. I brought in 3 slacks and 3 shirts. Their turn around time was better than what she originally told me .Nancy the the owner is so sweet! Her attention to detail is exceptional. She appreciated my buissnes and now I know why she was voted the Finest Tailor in Dallas .

What I like about this tailor is the overall level of professionalism.



After another tailor completely botched altering my bridesmaid dress, I came here in a panic. Not only did they correct the terrible job of the 'other place,' they did it in record time. Honestly, I only had 3 days before my flight to Arizona, and they had it altered and pressed for me with time to spare! I've been a regular ever since.



You are greeted with a smile, and they staff is always friendly and courteous. They under-promise and over-deliver on the time expectations--I've never had anything late, but have often had items completed early. It's also the work of a craftsman--the stitching is professional, not a slapped together, 'homesewn' look--these guys are amazing!!



As long as I'm in Dallas, this is my go-to spot!
