Dallas Tattoo Removal Clinic

I would like to post a review, because if you are like me, I read reviews before I walk in to any place. My experience was geat and fast.I was treated with kindness and respect. The session was really quick. Maybe bout 10 minutes. The drive to the clinic was longer than the actual.session. Although well worth the drive. I am very satisfied with my treatment and will be coming back to Dallas Texas to continue my removal sessions. Thank you DTRC for your inexpensive service.

Im going to give everyone an honest review of this place....and itll be the only one you need to read....here goes....I have been going here for over a year now. Yes, the staff is extremely friendly....Yes the place is down to earth... yes I do feel comfortable there.... however.... I started out having one small tattoo removed there. After a year.. it is still there!! I have had at least 10 (probably more) sessions done on it. It was about the size of a quarter. After about the 4th session on it, I was told ... ohhh this is the last session... (no change).. ohhh this one is the last session (no change). I will say that the tattoo is almost gone, however I think that after over a year of treatments (and this tattoo was done light, and black/red ink only) that I should see no traces of it. They did stop charging me for the tattoo (thank god) eventually when I started to pay for another one to be removed.... but even getting it lasered for free for at least the past 6-7 times... I would think it should be gone.



I have now been in the process of having my huge back tattoo removed. I have decided to switch clinics... here's why... I have had

7-8 very painful treatments done on my back piece and there is hardly any change. Now, this tattoo was done heavily with lots of ink by an amatuer artist from Tiger tattoo (don't recommend that place either).. so I knew it was going to be a long process.



Recently, ive begun talking to people, tattoo artists, and researching tattoo removal more....majority of people were shocked when they heard how many treatments I had and looked at the tattoo with no change...the more I researched tattoo removal.. the more I realized that after as many sessions as I've had... my tattoos should be GONE.. or there should at least be faint traces left of the back one. Other tattoo removal clinics eyes have bluged out in shock when I show them the tattoo and tell them how many sessions I've had done on it.



One thing I don't like about DTRC... is that they have never offered me a price/session package or given me an estimate on how many session it will take to be removed. I know some tattoos take longer... but at this rate it will take 3-4 years to remove! This also means that they can set the laser on low settings (so i get no or barely any results) and keep getting my money as long as I continue to go there.... which i know has been happening....I have since learned that most removal clinics offer a price plan and session estimates. So you pay a flat fee.. they quote you a session estimate... if its not removed at the end of the estimated session... its free. I have never been offered that at DTRC.

So I really feel like I have been taken advantage of.



Not only that... the new clinic I'm going to now is in a doctors office, beautiful professional office (feels like I'm at a spa) friendly and caring staff .. and LESS per session that what DTRC has been charging me. They have even quoted me 5-9 sessions for my tattoo to be removed... and if its not removed after the

Quoted session (which again is waaaay less than DTRC) its free for however many sessions it takes to remove it.. so I know they won't take advantage of me for my $ by putting the laser on low settings. This new clinic I found even offers free numbing cream before the procedure and free aftercare products. DTRC... they give you an ice pack (which helps very little compared to the pain).. offer you a numbing shot (for a fee), and you have to buy your aftercare.



So, yes DTRC has some very nice things about it.... but I personally feel like I have been taken advantage of for my $. Just do your research... get pricing... do a handful of free consultations... get informed. I wasn't and I made the mistake of trusting this place for too long. There are places out there that offer better deals. I love the sweet ladies that work there... but I think an honest article like this needs to be written.

This is the second tattoo removal I went to before making my decision. I chose Dallas Tattoo Removal Clinic because he was a straight shooter. I felt as if the first place was selling me a used car... over-priced and pushy. The Dallas Tattoo Removal Clinic was laid back, friendly and down to earth. Everything was clearly explained to me and the appointment setting was very easy and simple. The price is 34% of the first place and it is easy to see why. I am not paying for extreme overhead, advertisement or expensive, modern waiting room furniture and decor. The treatment went well and he has a wonderful bedside manner that helped take my mind off of the procedure. My ankle is healing well and I see results after 1 treatment. What truly touches my heart is the low to no cost mobile outreach unit ! There are ex-gang members and regular people out there who can't afford tattoo removal and at the same time can't find a job due to a tattoo. The Dallas Tattoo Removal Clinic provides a charitable service to those with hand and facial tattoos. That speaks louder than anything to me. I will be asking about other procedures they offer on my next visit. I would recommend this place to anyone!

In my opinion this place will put you at risk for HIV and hepitis!!! I say that because when I went to get a tattoo removed, I asked to the get pain medicine injected via syringe to stop the pain of the laser. The nurse grabbed some syringes from a tub of syringes....then put the pain medicine in the syringes. After injecting me with the syringes she threw the USED syringes on the lab TABLE next to the laser table. When I asked her why she didn't PROPERLY dispose of the syringes she said "Oh yeah" and then grabbed a FOLDGERS coffee can (the big one) and threw my USED syringes in the coffee can along with OTHER USED syringes. THen she said "Oh i will get rid of them later."



Then there was no "real" disinfecant used in the place. The only thing they use to wipe things off is ALCOHOL. Alcohol is not a powerful disinfectant and from my knowledge is not normally used in a medical facility.



This place is unsanitary and NO ONE should go to this place unless you want to put your self at risk.

This place is AWESOME! Not only are they the CHEAPEST by far. They are Very Friendly! The Staff is Great. Mike has been removing a Tattoo on my arm and he is OUTSTANDING. I would DEFFIENTLY Recommend DALLAS TATTOO REMOVAL to Everybody out ther that needs a Tattoo Removed. I give them 5 STARS! THEY ROCK!!! There Number is (214)678-9550

I am writting to share my great Experience at Dallas Tattoo Removal Clinic.

I went in to have a tattoo Removed and with only 3 treatments it is gone and you can`t even tell I had one!

They offer free and low cost removal . The free removal is for 17 and under. They remove any tattoos off the face,neck or hands. This can really help a young person with job search and their future.

The low cost service is from $50.00- $150.00 per treatment for adults.

They have been doing this for 8 years, 6 days a week.

They also have a mobile unit that travels to Tyler, Tx, Abiline, Tx and Wichita Falls, Tx on weekends.

This is a wonderful Famiy to know and I wish more people knew about them.
