The Goddard School of Cypress

This is the BEST school in Houston. My son is 2 1/2 years old and he has been in other schools before and this is the first time I see him excited and happy to go to school. He loves his teachers and he ask to go back every day! There are so many great things about this school that I don't know where to start.

First at all Sarah the owner it's an amazing person, very kind and very professional. The teachers are absolutely kind and loving with the children, always with a smile and very proactive with all of them. Almost every day I get on my email pictures and some times videos of him doing different activities. This is HUGE to me because I know he is learning and he is enjoying. At the end of the day I get again on my email a detailed report of every activity he did during the day like Music activity, cognitive activity, naps, meals, etc.

My son has been in Goddard School for one month and he already knows the numbers in Spanish, English, Colors and just about all the shapes.

I highly recommend the Goddard School to anyone!!

Do not go to this school ! * You can tell that the owner has posted several good comments on the school on different web sites, and most of it is flat out lies ! The school is closed the whole week of Christmas, and you still have to pay full price ! They are closed anytime Cy Fair ISD is closed, which means you have to take off work to keep your kids. They are closed on many days throughout the year for no good reason, and you still pay full price ! There are no cameras in the classrooms, and no online video streaming ! The owner has talked really ugly to me and my wife on several occasions. Also, the owner hates to give you vacation days. They went very cheap when they built this school. They don't accept credit cards. The school is never full and I see why ! They don't prepare your child well for kindergarten. Several of the teachers barely speak English, so you know they don't have any education. * Update: My 2 year old son got hurt really bad at the Goddard school and he was fine when I dropped him off. The owner told us that she did not believe that he was hurt at school, so when I asked her to look at the cameras so she can really see what happened, she got very upset. She lied about the room cameras when we enrolled in the school in the first place. When I picked up my son the next day, which was a Tuesday, she told us that we could not come back. Thank God we already had a new daycare set up, so they let him start there on the next day. Now, how hateful does a person have to be to put out a 2 year old in the middle of the week with no prior notice ! That's just plain hateful !!!!

I moved my child to the Goddard School 5 months ago and have been extremely happy. Communication with the parents is above and beyond. I always know what they are teaching my child and what my child is learning. He was at a different learning center but has greatly benefited from the smaller classroom ratio that gives the teacher time to interact with all students. Instead of just showing the kids picture of a police officer they had one come in and talk to the kids, this type of extra step really drives in the learning’s. The front office staff goes above and beyond to help the teachers and parents. I feel like I am part of a family and that is very important due to how many hours they have my child. The owner is always on site and it actually involved! She knows what is going on in her school and is there to help in any way she can.

I have never seen anything like The Goddard School Cypress North Houston. After visiting the toddler room several times I was amazed with the knowledge and expereience of all the teachers. The curriculum is by far the best I have seen. The students were between the ages of 1.5 to 2 but well beyond a three year old level. My child has been there for about 2 months and is able to identify all her shapes, colors(in english and spanish), some letters and she is not even 2. The building is new and super clean. The owner is very nice and really cares about the families. The Director is also very nice and has a lot of experience. The teachers are degreed and take their time to learn the needs of each child. The school is located in a perfect area with really good schools directly across the street. There is no doubt in my mind that The Goddard School will prepare my child for kindergarten well before her time. The tuition is a little on the higher end but worth every penny. You will be doing your child a disservice by not taking them to the Goddard School Cypress North Houston.
