Very crowded, thought the food must be good to have such a crowd. Wrong.. I ordered the seafood enchiladas, two small enchiladas filled with black beans and corn, three small salad shrimp, and two small pieces of imitation crab meat. It was more of a vegetarian enchilada than seafood. The Chile Verde ordered by my son wasn't any better. The meat was tender, but no Verde sauce, the watery sauce with tomatoes and what appeared to be canned diced Ortega chiles, lacked flavor, and any resemblance or taste of Chile Verde. The chicken fajitas ordered by my wife was so so. The chicken appeared to be precooked then added to the pepper and onions on the plate, the seasoning of the meat didn't have the flavors of the veggies. Makes me wonder why the big crowds. Birdseye makes more authentic Mexican food.

You either love or hate this place...there is no in between. I personally think that Mi Casa is awful. Their food lacks any real flavor and to mask that fact they simply put boat loads of cheese on top of everything. The last time I ate at Mi Casa it made my stomach queasy and I vowed to never return to the Cheese Factory.

I've been going to Mi Casa for a few years now and have had nothing but exceptional service. Their carne asada plate is absolutely amazing. Most of their servers are nice, attentive and really on top of things, except for one. She is a mono-toned, slow and rude server. It took her 15 minutes to take our drink order. Another 20 minutes to get the drinks to us. She put my order in wrong, and proceed to blame me for it. Telling me that I did not say my order clearly. It took almost 40 minutes for us to get our food. I wish we were able to leave, but we live over 45 minutes away and make special trips out there for their excellent service and food. If I were to get that server again, I would ask to move.

Mi Casa has wonderful food! My favorite is their cheese enchiladas and the margaritas on the rocks are to die for! Everytime I've been there (and it's been many) I have always received EXCELLENT service.
