I can always find great wines that no one else has. The staff is so knowledgable and friendly...love this place!!

The location of this place is exactly what I think of when someone says "off the beaten path." Access is via a weird maze of parking lots and alleys, but no matter - it was well worth the effort. Before I continue, I have to say that I came here solely for the beer selection that my good friend from Costa Mesa raved about. However this site doesn't have a separate listing for the wine and beer portions of the shop, so I have to post this review on this listing. Anyway...the "beer cellar" is considerably smaller than the wine cellar, but this in no way means that the selection is limited. Flags from 'round the beer world orient you to the offerings from nearly every continent, and the selections are outstanding! Gouden Carolus Golden (Belgian) Ale, St Ambrose Oatmeal Stout (Montreal), Coopers Sparkling Ale (Australia), and a host of domestic microbrews (Bear Republic, Full Sail, much more) from the US are representative of just some of the goodies I picked up. They also carry Aventinus, my absolute favorite beer of all time, plus a host of other varieties that I will certainly return to buy and try. If you are a purveyor of fine beer, you simply MUST visit this place. Bring your list of hard-to-find brews, or grab a beer guidebook and your wallet...you'll spend a little for quality ale, but you will not be sorry!

Great cigars at better prices than I've seen anywhere else. Friendly knowledgeable employees.

Their prices on liquor are quite good too !
