We walked in and the hostess sat us at a table with a beautiful view of the city. Our menus had my name with Happy Birthday. We felt so special! Our waiter recommended the Chef's specialty, Lobster Bisque, and it was very good, and perhaps the best I have ever had on the west cost. The Mahi Mahi Mai'a was very unique too. The flambayed bananas and Frangelico with butter and macadamia nuts was delicious. My husband loved it too. He had Chilean sea bass with a wonderful sauce and even loved the risotto accompanying it. For dessert we shared this hot lava cake filled with molten chocolate lava - it was a great finish to a wonderful meal and evening. We will be coming back with my parents next month. It was one of the best evenings I have spent in the area and is now our favorite spot to bring out of town visitors. I really wanted a perfect night and they delivered!

You're not on an Aegean island when you eat here, but you do have a beautiful view of the San Diego skyline, because you're right on the bay. Not formal at all; you order indoors and your food is brought to you as you sit on the patio and enjoy watching sailboats, ferries, and large ships sail by.
Although very casual, the menu is quite extensive. The usual gyros (a very good one) isn't the only offering. There are also chicken and fish dinners and the very popular Greek salad. The pita bread is fresh and soft as it should be. If you have room, there's also baklava!
Although the patio is glass enclosed, wear a jacket if you go in cold weather. Great for lunch or dinner.

I was shopping online for a diaper cake to bring to a babyshower and I noticed that Rubber Ducky advertised diaper cake services on their website www.rubberduckybaby.com, so I went. At first I didn't see a huge selection of premade cakes in their store, like on the site, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the girl working that day assured me that we could put something together fast. I picked a 3 tiered do it yourself cake, instead of having her do all the decorating, I just walked out with a completed cake that I could add my own special touches to. This was really good, because I found out that the mom-to-be was having a jungle themed baby shower and I found all kinds of inexpensive baby jungle stuff to add to the cake.
This is just a cute little shop, with lots of baby gifts and beach stuff and kid's clothes and toys. I was happy to have gone on a day when they weren't very busy, because I felt that they really paid attention to what I needed and I hadn't been to Coronado in a while-I thought that everything there was just really expensive or for tourists. I found their prices very reasonable and original. I give 4 stars, because I never give 5.

I just want to thank the Rubber Ducky store for all the great help I received while on my visit to Coronado. The friendly sales girl was very helpful in finding me just the right gift for my two year old nephews birthday. I looked in many other shops in Coronado on my stay and by far the Rubber Ducky was the best. The sales girl was such a big help to me. Once again Thank you.

I always love to go to Coronado, though I often forget it exists. This little shop is so cute and has lots of stuff for infants. I got my 6 month old son a whole rubber duck outfit. We had a great time, because there is lots of parking and the view is wonderful. It's just too bad the center was under construction and there was a lot of noise for my little one.
