Studio west

After being a loyal client of over a decade to the latest owner, Leigh Lynch, I am saddened to say that I will NEVER have her touch my hair or go into Studio West ever again! I was given a gift certificate for Christmas 2017 by my mother of $100. First, my appointment was not put into the system so I just had a trim done by Sidney who is very sweet and did a fine job. I'd shown Leigh the picture of what I wanted my hair to look like at this appointment: dark brown roots melting into a vibrant red. My next appointment for the dye job was put into the system, so I thought, and she'd marked off $20 from the $100 on the certificate leaving $80. What I have now figured out is that she'd put me down under my mother's name for my dye appointment and for THE WRONG COLORING SERVICE!!! The coloring service she'd put me down for was for the amount of the remainder on the gift certificate. Pricing was never discussed. I had more money in addition to the certificate to get the hair I really really wanted. Leigh had never done me wrong before so I trusted her! I cried in her chair when she was done! She told me she'd given me a deal. She also kept saying she "didn't want to get in trouble" when I said I wanted vibrant color and to add purple in with the red. She said my mother told her not to put purple in my hair. Number one, I am a 35 year old woman! Number two, it was a gift and once that gift is given to someone else, it's up to them how they choose to spend it.
I tried for months to work with Leigh on fixing my hair and she completely ignored me! I have NEVER been treated so horribly by a stylist before! I understand my mother is a client of hers as well (only because of me!) and that she goes to see Leigh for cut and color every few weeks, but Leigh was completely UNPROFESSIONAL and had it been any other customer, they would've been asked to come back and have their hair fixed!!!
I HATE that I've had to resort to bad reviews! I am now going higher up to seek resolution.

Leigh Lynch, the owner of Studio West, is an awesome stylist and all around person. I've lived in Southern, Ar., Little Rock, Nashville, Tn. and Northwest, Ar. and I've never had a stylist who knew as much about color and how to create such a natural look with it and how to cut my hair exactly like I envisioned when I walked in the door. Leigh and all of the stylists at Studio West take enough time with each person to ensure that you walk out feeling the way we all want to feel after a cut and/or color, which is refreshed, new and

Friendly environment with experienced stylists. There's complimentary refreshments for customers and convenient online booking. Located across the street from the University of Central Arkansas.

Loooove Studio West. They drew me in with their online check scheduling system and their hospitality. They're easy to talk to and professional in their styling. I'm hooked. Won't be going to anyone else.
