Tae Kwon Ko DO

We searched the entire east bay area before joining K. O. Tae Kwon Do. It?s a great place for beginners or advanced students. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable and let you work at your own pace. This is also the only place we found that teaches Forms, Sparring, and Weapons. This worked out great for us. When we started, our two kids weren?t interested in sparring or weapons so they only went to the Forms classes. After a few classes they saw how much fun the other kids were having sparring they joined the sparring class, then the weapons class. The best part for me was the Sparring and Weapons classes were included in the monthly price. Another bonus is the monthly price was also the lowest we found, and has only increased $5.00 per month in the 5+ years we have been going to this studio. K.O. Tae Kwon Do is family oriented with movie nights and picnics. They also stress the importance of school work and helping parents around the house. Our Studio attends a few tournaments every year, we always do very well, no one gets hurt, and everyone has fun, from the youngest first time competitors to the parents. Even if you choose not to compete you will enjoy the new friends you will make, and the fun you will have in the classes.
