Great local family owned restaurant. We get pizza every week from Smith's! Nice staff and homemade sauce and dough. Great place to meet friends have a beer and enjoy their yummy pizza!

I love to have meetings in the area during the week so I can stop in for a hot soup or toasted sub. The Super sub and Meatball sub are my favorite. Smith's is a great place to meet friends for pizza and beer. They have a nice selection of bottled craft beers and their sauce and dough are made fresh in house.

I don't see how anyone can like this crap. I get dragged here by my wife who has been eating here for years, and I hate it. I've had mostly everything and its mediocre at best. I love to support small local business and all, but if you're gonna employ your children or family and friends, keep the kids to sweeping floors or serving. I see a microwave(a restaurant no-no) getting used for almost everything. The ingredients are handled poorly and not of great quality to begin with. I have seen a lot of unsanitary practices in here too probably because of the uninformed high school student kitchen staff.

The pizza is a great thin crust made in house; the lasagna is also made from scratch and is a huge portion for a reasonable price. They have many great sandwiches from fresh baked croissants to filling meatball subs. I usually call ahead during the lunch hour and pick up food for the whole office. Smith?s has great food and excellent customer service. This is what you expect from a family owned restaurant that has been in operation longer than I have been alive. It is truly a Clintonville gem.

If you are looking for a family owned and operated diner, this place is for you. We have tried the menu up and down, mostly for lunch. Especially their tomato bisque is delicious, the sandwiches are fantastic, the pizza is great (order very thin crust if you want it European). The ravioli sauce is very well balanced. Their cookies are fabulous: they have exactly the right size for a desert, small but great in taste.

Smith's catering is fab! We've used them for soccer, football and lax events, as well as baby and wedding showers, graduations and parties. For dining in or take-out, the food is wonderful too. The lasagne is incredible. Chicken Noodle Soup always sells out quickly. This is one of the few places where you can still get deviled eggs. I mean really, who still sells them? They are delish! Subs and pizzas are great too. It's a popular place, so, sometimes carry-out is a good idea for lunch. If you sit in the dining room, it's an extremely casual neighborhood type place. If you're looking for good food, with no pretense, this is one of the best places we've found. Oh yeah, and I can't say enough about their ""relish"" trays........they certainly aren't the usual run of the mill ""veggie"" trays.

Smith's is nothing fancy to look at. However, the people who work there are so nice. I had the lasanga and it was wonderful. Huge portion and lots of yummy cheese.
