The Northarlington Animal Clinic has been serving the northwest Columbus community since 1972. We are a full service animal hospital for dogs, cats, pigs, reptiles, and small mammals. Preventive Care

Dental Care
Vaccination
All pets must be current on their vaccinations. For dogs this includes Canine Influenza, DA2P, bordatella and rabies. Please note that we do require bordetella every 6 months for dogs. Cats must be current on their PRC and rabies vaccine If you cannot provide proof of vaccination we will contact your vet for confirmation.
Comprehensive Examination
We are unable to give you a treatment plan without a physical examination, however most of our clients are pleasantly surprised by the affordability of laser therapy. It especially economical compared to the long term costs of NSAIDs, prescription diets, pain medications and other supportive care.

Medications, Pet Food & Pet Supplies: We maintain an in-house pharmacy, which allows us to fill prescriptions for your pet quickly and conveniently. We also offer prescription diets from Hills, Purina, IVD, and Iams, and selection of nutritional supplements, flea & tick products, grooming aids, odor/stain removers, and collars and leashes. Ask us about home delivery.
Pain Management
Skin Condition and Allergy Treatment
Laser therapy is used to treat a wide range of conditions that involve pain and inflammation. Typical cases include arthritis, back injuries, sprains, muscle spasms, nerve injuries, wounds, “hot spots,” ear infections, cystitis, gingivitis, post-operative recuperation and skin conditions of all kinds.

Dental Surgery
Dentistry: We use an ultrasonic scaler and polisher for quick and efficient dental cleanings, as well as a dental x-ray machine. We also perform tooth extractions and other minor oral surgeries.
Veterinary Surgery
Josh is also a veterinarian that will be here often. He has a special interest in orthopedic surgery as well as complex soft tissue surgery and ultrasound. They love to work together and want to achieve the highest level of patient care possible.
Laser Surgery
Declawing
Surgery: Our surgical suite includes isoflourane gas anesthesia. We perform a variety of surgical procedures including spays, neuters, declaws, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.

X-Ray
Radiology: Our facilities allow you to have results while you wait. We are pleased to offer our clients the sharp, clear images of digital radiography. Digital imaging enables us to process x-rays quickly and, if necessary, e-mail them to specialists at other hospitals.

General Pet Care

Boarding
The Northarlington Animal is pleased to offer boarding for our veterinary patients only. In addition to cats and dogs (under 40 pounds), we are happy to offer boarding services for birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, mice and gerbils.
Grooming
Payment must be made at the time you pick up your pet. You may pay your bill by cash or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Care Credit. We cannot accept ITEX or IMS for grooming services. We cannot offer Golden Buckeye discounts on grooming.
