I think this is a great facility. Office is clean and the manager Shaun is on top of everything. They covered my deductible and got my car back to me quickly.

Overall

After picking up my vehicle at the Alum Creek location, I tried to explain issues that I had with the work performed so that it could be addressed and fixed. I was told by the general manger of that location that he "didn't care" that my car was "a piece of junk", that he "didn't like me and hadn't liked me from the day I first showed up" and then proceeded to ask for the address of my place of employment so he "could come harass me at work" at which point when I refused he told me that it "was ok, because he had my home address and could just visit me there". I stated that I didn't appreciate the disrespect and was told that he "was trying to disrespect me every chance he could". I would not recommend going to this shop under any circumstances. Poor quality work, poor communication throughout the process, and open and deliberate threats.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

This has got to be the most terrible business in Columbus with the most unethetical business practices I have ever encountered. Let me give you a few examples.

(1) Their ads say "free towing" and "we will pay your deductible" and that they have free loaner cars. Their towing guy came to pick up our car and handed me a contract that he expected me to sign right on the spot that said the opposite of all this and that I authorize all repairs to my vehicle no matter what the cost is. No matter what you do, make sure not to sign this contract.

(2) When I called to say I don't want them doing anything to my car they told me I have to pay for their "free towing".

(3) When I called to take advantage of their "free loaner car" promotion they told me they only have a few loaner cars and all are either out or wrecked and they will notify me when they will be available. My car has been in their shop for 2 weeks and so far no loaners are available.

(4) The car was in a very minor accident - hit a pole in a parking lot - but their repair estimate was for 10,000!!!

(5) The manager Shaun is super shady and the other people seem too scared of him and others to do the right thing.

(7) I'll be also sending a letter to the state attorney general so he could investigate their unethical business practices.

(8) They told me my radiator is broken and first said it will be $300 then $600 to fix. I see the brand new radiator is $75 online for my exact car and it's a simple part. They overcharge like crazy.

Bottom line, save yourself the headache and go to Gerber or another reputable company.

While backing up, I scraped the side of my Honda on a retaining wall. The passenger-side door would barely open, but I didn't do anything about it for months -- fearing that I would need a new door and that it would cost thousands.

Then I took my car to Fine line auto body. I explained the problem, and a manager had a look at it. He said "we can fix that!" and proceeded to do so in 5 minutes. He charged nothing for the repair.

I cannot say enough about the honesty of that manager.

Very bad customer service

They told me bring my car up there for repair they will pay for car rental also cover up 500 $ deductible , couple days later they called me back and told me I have to pay for my car rental b/c I don't have car rental coverage in my Insurance policy ?? I wanted bring my car back but they told me they torn it apart to prepare for Insurance company come take a look and if I want take back home I have to pay them to put it in together ,,, then Until I come pick up my car they ask me pay 140$ deductible cost , they told me they only pay 20% of the total damage bill cost and I have to pay the rest it was 140$ they only cover 360$, the manager told me he already explain to me from beginning but he didn't , don't come to this place , poor customer service and they fools customers badly

Had someone ram right into my drivers door and completely messed up the side of my car. Had my co worker recommend me here and they even got a $50 check mailed to them as a thank you for recommended. (Thought that was neat) When I got my car back I was beyond impressed by how normal the side looked ( as if nothing ever happened) I would give them 10 stars if I could!

I used to be in the automotive...

I used to be in the automotive business so I definitely know what good body work is when I see it. First of all, they are all about pleasing the customer and not the insurance company like other body shops. I was involved in a big accident and had a lot of side damage. My door was completely smashed in and glass was shattered all over the place. After I got my car back, the side never even looked like it was hit. The paint was matched perfectly (and trust me, I inspected it very closely.) The glass was perfectly done and the whole mess was cleaned up with no pieces of glass left anywhere. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Great work.

How they want

They took longer than agreed an didn't provide me with a rental for the additional days they took . Screws were missing from my vehicle an new scratches in the finished work. Second hand auto paint in a big pretty building . Don't let the deductible waiver fool you . They hassle isn't worth it!!!

I have white 2012 Honda Accord Coupe Sport. I was recently involved in a very big accident and was recommended by one of my college friends to bring my car to Fine Line. I called the North High St. location and dealt with the manager, Shawn, who helped set everything up. I got my vehicle towed in and they set me up with a rental car. They also dealt first hand with my insurance company, State Farm, who was really easy to work with by the way. Once my car was finished, they gave me a call and when I came in, my car looked the same way it was before the accident. I would recommend Fine Line to everyone and especially not being from around here, they made the situation less stressful. Awesome work!!!

They was rude, They make promises they later on say the never did and also the repairs they do are cheap and horrible. I had to drive there four times and still they didn't do the job right. Armand the manager it a rude person and also the main manager is rude I would rate them a -10 out of a 1-10 rating I will never take my car back to them again for the following reasons

1. they are rude

2. They make promises they never keep

3. they don't do a good job

4.The paint job is horrible

honestly the car looked better when it was wrecked before I toke it to them and they fixed it id rather have it back wrecked then their crappy job

If you are a woman especially ...

If you are a woman especially stay away - the stereotype of shops taking advantage of the situation just because you're a girl and they don't think you know anything is true. Also, the guy who quoted my estimate was arrogant. I don't trust a guy wearing a suit and tie giving just looking at my car and throwing an estimate number at me, as if he really knows what it's going to cost. Have the guy who actually DOES the work estimate my work, not the sales guy who clearly just wants to cheat you. These guys quoted me WAY over for a small paint and dent job that I'm able to get done elsewhere, better price and better service, and great quality. Best option to go somewhere else.

Had some rear bumper damage to my Honda Accord. They took my insurance info, talked directly to my agent, took $200 off my deductable and did the job as they said. No surprizes, no additional cost, and I'm happy. I would use them again.

Freakin crooks

I have to tell you I had them repair my vehicle and it was a horrible experience. They hire cheap foreign labor to repair the vehicles and then they didnt even replace the panles they were supposed to. They just filled them with bondo. When I talked to my insurance company about it he stated--you picked the shop you need to deal with them". He also stated "it didnt surprise him" that they did inferior repairs. Do yourself a favor and pay your deductible.

Nissan

Just got my Nissan Altima back from the shop. Could not wait to get out of that rental car. Fine Line fixed my side door that got smashed in. They were very friendly and the door is like new. They were fixing 2 other Nissans at the same time. Does this means that Nissans get in more wrecks, or was it just a coincidence?

Now called Fine Line Auto Body

I got hit on Livingston between Alum Creek and College where they have all that construction going on. Someone tried to pass me in the middle turn lane and then had to swerve back over when another car was making a turn. He didn't have insurance so I got stuck with having to pay the deductible. Fine Line is on Alum Creek just around the corner from where I got hit. They covered most of the deductible and got me in a rental car cheap. It wasn't a big dent, but they did a nice job of fixing and painting it. I would tell people, take your car there, even if you had to drive half way across Columbus.
