I just wanted to let you know I'm very dissatisfied with the answer also I'm very dissatisfied with the services I received from this attorney if Bill LaTour wants to look professional he should have more professional people working for him. It's not because I was denied my SSI it's because they did not keep in contact with me I constantly had to call them and also they did not give them any new updated information as it should have been in my record. If they needed me to get anything to help this case go through they should have contacted me. Like I said the contact was terrible and the lawyer that was sent to defend me was very buddy-buddy with the judge and also did not seem to care about my case. It seems as if I was just another job for her to do she was also late to my hearing. They have terrible contact, my appeal was denied by the attorney they sent to me and my problem is I called them the first week that I got my denial letter. It took them almost a month to get back to me. All I know is that I was told it would only take a week but intern it took a month. Do not go with them oh, they have no professionalism and horrible horrible communication. this is just another office that makes themselves look good on TV and on the internet.

Latours office is incompetent. They play a numbers game with your very life. They led me to believe they knew what they were doing and by the time I realized they didn't it was too late. I sit here now, not being able to work because they were too incompetent to file a response to a quack brought in by a corrupt ALJ after the hearing. They respond to NOTHING. They file the papers and hope for the best.
What do I do now? I wait until I can't afford the doctors anymore and then I fade away. Im almost ready to give in. Please, if you care about your case use someone else because this firm can care less. What's life and death to you and me is a money numbers game to them.

Horrible work, Don't return calls, Don't do anything right, And if they get your papers they deny you ever cancelled anything with them.

Hell they will still charge you even if they never received your papers or even filed for anything period.

It's just a big old scam to get your SS # and Information to prob sell outside.

My husband had someone come out to our house from bill Latores office her name was cristine and she was very helpful she left her card and now we cant find it.he called and they said angela was his caseworker but he cant get a hold of her after leaving numerous v.mails.he calls everyday without reaching anyone or getting a call back.is there another number to reach someone in the office.he really needs to speak to someone.is there also a email address?thanks so much for any info.

well I read the reviews and there right on I got him 3 years when they would finally call me back I would ask how it was going they were rude saying they would say ill call you back but never did when I got my letter with my appoiment with the judge I called them they told me to be there pushing me off phone but I kept talking asking if they had all my records she said yes so I trusted them when the day came the judge asked were my resent stuff was ther but no they did not have them in my humble opinion they don't work very hard for us so I say lets fight back remember the pen is mightier than the sword im posting all over the place so this wont happen to anyone else

There is a HUGE communication GAP with this place! After forever I was told that I had been assigned a caseworker, but she never called me until she was upset at me for something I didn't do right. I told her I was dying and doubted I could make it through the process. She said something like " I won't waste your time, if you don't waste mine" Save yourself what I went through and find a real attorney to file your case.

Horrible. Never returns calls. Has you fill out your own paperwork. You don't meet a lawyer unril your appeal. I was approved but not at the amount I was supposed to be because they never submitted all my paperwork. I have given them the paperwork 2 more times. I finally just went to a local social security office and they still haven't sent the paperwork to ss. SS told me that all they need is that paper. I was told by lawyer Armando that I have to have my kids added on my own. At the ss office just now I was told that my lawyer should have done it. I have been calling for the last 2 hours and I keep hearing that he is on the phone and that they will send him an email to call me back. It is a 45 min drive to the ss office so I have been waiting here in the parking lot trying to talk to the lawyers office. The ss employee I talked with asked me what lawyer I have. I told her and she said not surprised. According to her they have a bad reputation.

Do your homework . These people are a walking joke. Everything youve read on here and yelp is exactly the kind of service youll get. No communication no returned calls lost paperwork etc etc. Luckily was able to find another law office to take my case. NEG- 5☆☆☆☆☆

I had pleasure of knowing Dr. Bill La Tour. He helped with my brother-in-laws disability claim. Dr. Latour is the smartest attorney there is. He is very knowledgeable in his field and because of that my brother-in-law is now receiving disability. Besides being an expert in his field, Dr. La Tour is also a wonderful human being and cares about his client. He was very responsive throughout the case process. He responded promptly to every single one of my emails, voice mails, even text messages and gave his undivided attention to what I had to say. It is unfortunate that we get sick and seek an early disability, but it is life and things happen. If you need a lawyer, who would care about you and your case, who would give his 100%, contact Dr. La Tour. HE IS THE BEST.

What a rotten job this office has done for me!!!! They dont return phone calls. I call their number and its busy. I dealt with ssi myself. It wss approved with no thanks to bill latoure. I asked him why they treated me this way i was told I was probly aproved because his name was on as my coiunsel. What counseling????? They can't even return a phone call. I couldn't even get help with my paperwork.He belongs in a criimenal court and answer why he takes your money and does nothing!!! Its fraud as far as im concerned. I want my money back!!!! This is one the biggest incompetent attorney in California. All you have is paralegals who argue and tell you what YOU need to do, did not do, or how you did it wrong. Forget the commercial BLT only looks at the file once you are denied, This is attorney cherry pickin at its best
