Winn Smiles

I enjoyed high quality service (used Dr Lara), great personalities on staff, and pleasant office environment. I got 2 crowns done at once, and paid for them out-of-pocket, since my insurance does not cover crowns. I found Winn Smiles to be pricy. The 2 crowns cost me $2800 for basic porcelain. I have had several crowns in my lifetime (I am 59 yrs old), and this was the first time I ever paid an additional charge ($306 each) for "build up". This is considered the "standard" charge, on top of the $1200 base charge per crown, and could be as high as $400. For my case here, "build up amounts to some filling material placed under the crown. No posts or anything like that. It was presented as a possible upcharge at the initial estimate, but I think the new trend in dentistry is to invent things to charge extra for. So just expect the maximum charge the estimate allows. I like the quality of the work done, but I feel like I paid the price of 3 crowns to get the 2.

I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN. DR. BRAD WORKED WITH ME WHEN I HAD INSURANCE AND WHEN I DID NOT. MORWE THAN HALF MY TEETH NEEDED MAJOR WORK. HE WAS GENUANLLY CONCERNED ABOUT ME. IT IS NOT VERY OFFTENYOU WILL FIND A DENTIST WHO WILL CALL YOU LIKE BRAD DID AT HOME OUT OF CONCERN FOR MY PAIN. I HAVE ALLOT OF ANXITY REGARDING DENTIST AND WE GOT OFF ON THE ERONG FOOT AT FRIST. I PUT HIM THROUGH THE RINGER BUT HE DID NOT STOP TRYING TO COMFORT ME AND REASURE ME DURING THE PROCEDURES. MY TEETH LOOK LIKE I AM TWENTY AGAIN. THANKS DR. BRAD.!!!!!!!
