Heinen's Fine Foods is a full-service, family-owned grocery store chain that operates more than 15 stores in the Greater Cleveland area. The company was founded in 1929 in Cleveland, when Joseph Heinen opened a small meat market. After running the meat market for a few years, he opened Cleveland's first supermarket. The company is known for its meat and for offering extensive wine programs. In addition to its retail operations, Heinen's Fine Foods runs a catering division for a variety of events, such as weddings, banquets and birthday parties.
