Dollar Mart

I should have known there was trouble to be when the lady that spoke broken english approached me and said that it was 5 pm and they close and they cashier "wants to go home". Okay...i didnt need to know all that, the fact that they were closing was good enough. I made my way to the register as I was done shopping anyways.



The foreign lady that supposedly owns this store is very rude... to the point of harrassing. A man dressed in street attire was off to the side of the registers making a sign for the store. He likes to assist the foregin lady in gossiping and harrasing the customers with a WOW and some other interjections as well has mean looks directed towards customers. Very immature. I was told by the cashier that he's shopper that likes to shop there a lot. Right...well he wasn't shopping that day. They contintued to talk within my ear shot about me. When I asked why the foreign lady was being so rude she went off on a tanget muttering under her breath. The guy replied with a WOW which was directed towards me and stated that the foreing lady was the OWNER. Okay..so she's allowed to treat people badly? I had enough and I was completely annoyed. The cashier over charged me an item that was $4. Didnt' even apoogize for it. When I pointed this out, the foreign lady also muttered under her breath about ME. I was soo flustered that I didnt reallize that I was short changed my 98 cents until I sat in my car. My blood was boiling but I remained somewhat calm even though I felt like I was in the twilight zone gettng attacked. Very unprofessional and RUDE RUDE RUDE.



I will NEVER EVER go there again. It was disgusting and appauling having to deal with that as a consumer. And dont be surprised when you get to the register and an item is rung up as $3 instead of $1 because practically nothing is marked with a price. This may be a franchise and I will not stop until I find the head corporation to file a complaint in greater detail.
